Frequently asked questions

Common questions from first-time riders. If your question isn't covered here, please reach out through the contact form.

Reservations

Minimum party size?: 2 passengers. Children-only reservations are not accepted.
Maximum party size?: Up to 7 passengers per boat (adults and children combined).
How is pricing structured?: Same-day rides are ¥1,500 per adult and ¥500 per child. Advance reservations are a flat ¥5,500 charter, regardless of party size or route.
How close to departure can I book?: Same-day rides are accepted up to 30 minutes before departure. Advance rides can be booked for any future time slot. The Central Wholesale Market pier requires booking at least 24 hours in advance.

Cancellation deadline?: Within 5 minutes of booking, cancellation is free and fully refunded. After that, the free cancellation window runs until 12:00 the day before boarding.
Cancelling after 12:00 the day before?: No refund is possible. The fare remains payable even if you are unable to board.
Refund if the ride is cancelled by operations?: If we suspend the ride due to weather or river conditions, we issue a full refund.

Where do I board?: Please arrive at the pier you selected at booking. Arriving 5 minutes early makes boarding smoother.
How long does the ride take?: Adjacent piers (e.g. Yodoyabashi Pier to OAP Harbor) take about 15 minutes. Segments spanning one intermediate pier (e.g. Yodoyabashi Pier to Osaka Castle Port) take about 30 minutes. The full route from end to end (Central Wholesale Market Pier to Osaka Castle Port) takes about 45 minutes.
Do you run in bad weather?: In the event of typhoons, flooding, or strong winds, we suspend operations for safety. We contact you in advance if a cancellation is decided.
